By communicating with Elysian Collection via email or contact form you agree to receiving marketing communications from Elysian Collection. You will be given the option to cease such communications from Elysian Collection with every ‘newsletter’.

Booking a Holiday

1. Booking a Holiday

A holiday booking is made between Elysian Collection GmbH and the signatory of your quotation who must be over 18 years of age (“you”). All correspondence to be addressed to Elysian Collection GmbH, Carysfort House, Carysfort Avenue, Blackrock, Co Dublin, Ireland. The contract between you and Elysian Collection GmbH is in all circumstances to be governed by these booking conditions.

2. Cancellation by You

Any cancellation will come into effect the day written notice is received by Elysian Collection GmbH and will be refunded (if necessary) as shown in the table below. Recorded delivery is strongly recommended.

Depending on the reason for your cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these charges under the terms of your insurance policy.

3. Cancellation By Us

In all cases, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday for the dates you have reserved. This is extremely unlikely, but should this event occur you will be fully refunded and compensated as set out below:

If you fail to pay the balance of the booking price or other costs before the due dates, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation with no refund to you.

4. Your Responsibilities

As part of this contract you hereby agree to guarantee payment for any chargeable services requested by any member of your group, whether such services are requested before, during or after your holiday.

It is your responsibility to ensure that each member of your group carries adequate winter sports insurance.

Please treat the chalet and all the property with care and respect. We will be entitled to recover the cost of any damage caused by any member of your group before departure from the chalet. Please ensure that your insurance policy covers accidental damage to the chalet and its contents. Behaviour deemed unacceptable by us will result in the termination of your holiday and you shall have no right to a refund for your holiday or any expenses incurred as a result of the termination.

It is your responsibility to provide written details of any allergies or intolerances suffered by any member of your group.

5. Our Responsibilities

We accept responsibility for ensuring that the holiday which you book with us is supplied materially as described on our website/brochure. We accept liability for any loss you may suffer if your holiday is not materially as described and, subject to your compliance with Clause 8, will pay you appropriate compensation (limited to a maximum of one and a half times the invoiced cost of your holiday) for such loss.

6. Price Guarantee

Once your holiday has been booked and the brochure published, its price will be fixed, in spite of any currency fluctuations. However, we reserve the right to amend our tariffs at any time before you make your reservation and you will be notified if any such amendment has been made as soon as practicable.

7. Health, Passports and Visas

It is your responsibility to ensure that documents are in proper order before you travel. Please be aware that the length of time it takes to obtain visas can vary, so we recommend you contact the appropriate Consulate at your earliest convenience.

8. Any Problems

If you are ever unhappy with any aspect of your holiday, you must address your compliant immediately to the Chalet Manager. In the unlikely event that your problem cannot be resolved locally, you must inform us in writing of your complaint within 28 days of your return date so that any rights to compensation can be examined.

9. End Of Week Payments

Upon request, we will make purchases on your behalf both before and during your holiday. To enable us to do so, credit card details will be held as a guarantee. Please note that any such purchases must be settled in full prior to your departure from the chalet.

A small visitor’s tax is levied by the tourist office on a daily per head rate. This will be charged at cost at the end of your stay.

Your end of week bill will be shown in Swiss Francs.

Cash payment in the resort is accepted in the local currency only. Visa and Mastercard payments will be processed in Swiss Francs. The vast majority of services we supply in-resort are passed on to you at cost, with no handling fee. A charge of 2.4 % (or 3.3% for AMEX) is therefore levied on all in-resort credit card payments to cover the credit card charges.

10. Skiing

It is the responsibility of you and your group to judge the suitability of each area in which you ski. If you or any member of your group ski in a location on the recommendation of or are accompanied by any representative of Elysian Collection GmbH, we will not be liable for any injuries howsoever caused.

11. Chalet Facilities

Guests use the hot tub/sauna/spa area at their own risk and we can accept no responsibility for accidents/injuries whilst using the facilities. Children must be supervised whilst using all the chalet facilities including, but not limited to, the hot tub, and sauna.

12. General

Headings within these booking conditions are for reference purposes only and all images/floor plans are intended to give a general impression only.

These booking conditions and an matters arising from them are subject to and governed by Swiss law and the jurisdiction of the Swiss courts.
